David Karoly - Reflections on a decade of climate research

On 14 February 2018 Professor David Karoly gave a talk to friends and colleagues about his ten year tenure as Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Melbourne.

Professor Karoly spoke of his research and the many students and postdocs who contributed the bulk of the research outputs in his team. He also reflected on his embrace of media engagement and policy development despite (or perhaps because of) the controversies he found himself at or near the centre of.

Professor Karoly recently joined the CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere group as Leader, Earth Systems and Climate Change Hub, National Environmental Science Program.
