Liam Spurr

Liam completed a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science before being a Hydrogeologist and Environmental Scientist at GHD in Melbourne, Australia.

“I’m a Hydrogeoloist at GHD in the Water Resources team, now with around 1.5 years’ experience in the contaminated land assessment and groundwater management sphere. I have worked on a diverse set of projects across a number of industries, ranging from pig farms in outback NSW, to large state government infrastructure projects and everything in between.

Lately, an average month might include a week of drilling supervision, combined with 1-3 days per week of groundwater investigations such as water level monitoring and groundwater sampling. This is complemented by a few days of office work to help plan these tasks and a bit of data management and reporting. My schedule varies quite a lot, as is the nature with the consulting industry.”
